Based in Carvoeiro, Bespoke specialise in unique villa design, project management, renovations and rural tourism projects predominantly in the area’s around Carvoeiro, Lagoa and Ferragudo, but also work across the Algarve.
John Wilson is an architect based in Carvoeiro, in the Algarve, Portugal. Being bilingual enables John to liaise seamlessly between English speaking clients and Portuguese contractors, legal entities and local authorities, to ensure that the vision of every client is represented fully and completed both in time and within budget.
Since gaining a BA Hons from London University and achieving a Masters Degree in Portugal John has had the pleasure of collaborating with some of the most respected designers, architects, engineers and construction companies in Portugal and throughout the world. This has allowed John to experience a vast variety of projects, from rustic renovations to master planning entire resorts, contemporary villa design to properties that fuse the past and the present.

Nevertheless the first project had to be put on hold because of reasons beyond their control, they started working on another project with full enthusiasm and a wonderful result! They were also very responsive to input we gave them.

After talking with more architects we came in contact with John from Bespoke Architects. From the moment we discussed our plans, the feeling with this company and John as a person, felt right. He has the ability of listening very well to the client and after this process he comes with useful additional ideas.
