VILLA DESIGN

In an environment somewhat lacking in character and with sloping topography, there is a significant difference in elevation between the access to the plot and the placement of the residence - where the utmost priority was given to maximizing the sea view. An attempt was made to explore a staggered volumetrics integrated into the terrain. In pursuit of a striking and captivating image inspired by the opening of a fan, different angles were obtained that delineate lines of force materialized by its roofs and faceted terraces.

The white colour gives it the freshness of a holiday home, enhanced by its proximity to the beach. In the expectation of making the architectural piece more balanced in terms of materials, it was proposed to define a cladding in natural stone for the base and exterior pavements. Water is also a present element on all floors, providing not only aesthetic value but also an inspiring ambiance. The single-family residence is divided into two habitable floors and a basement.

It comprises four bedrooms with private sanitary facilities, with only one of them located on the first floor, which, along with the social area (defined by the living room and kitchen), was deliberately chosen for the most distinct view at this elevation level. Still on this floor, we find a swimming pool, fully integrated into the volumetrics of the terraces and facing the southern quadrant, following the sea horizon. At the ground floor level, the private terrace of the bedrooms, completely covered, also offers a connection to a water mirror, which, like the interior courtyard, are references that strengthen the intended symbiosis between the construction and the relationship between the interior and exterior spaces.
